Flash is a program from Macromedia that enables web designers to add certain enhancements to web sites. These include animations, the inclusion of multi-media elements, and increased programmability to create more interactive pages.

There is some controversy surrounding Flash and whether or not the cost of producing Flash pages is justified.

Terrapin Design does not take sides in this debate. There are times when the message justifies the cost, and there are times when using Flash may add some spice to a web site, but does nothing to enhance its value. We feel the decision to use Flash is best made on a case-by-case basis.
